What kind of apartments do you have?

The Hancock has 58 apartment suites and approximately 25 different floor plans. Each apartment is unique. All suites have original hardwood floors. Some feature private decks, and architectural details such as exposed brick and beams. All suites have granite countertops, stainless steel appliances (dishwasher, refrigerator, oven and microwave), garbage disposals, and full size washer/dryer.

Is there a fee to use the fitness facilities?

24-hour access to our fitness facilities is included in the monthly amenities fee.

What is included in the rent?

Each apartment suite is billed a $125 amenities fee each month. The fee includes trash, water, sewer, high speed internet access, and cable television. Residents are billed for their electric used from the previous month at the same time the monthly amenities fee is billed.

When is rent due?

Rent is due the first day of each calendar month.

What is the pet policy?

The Hancock allows pets under 25 pounds at full adult weight. A $240 pet fee is required. This is not a deposit and is nonrefundable. In addition, there is a monthly charge of $30 per pet.

What is the term of the lease?

Leases are one year. The lease will renew for one year unless building management is notified in writing 60 days prior to the anniversary of the lease. Contact us to ask about other terms.

What about parking?

Residents of The Hancock may participate in the City of Roanoke’s Residential Parking Program.
